Why MedicineCostHelp exists

From confusion to a
clear path toward treatment.

Our mission is simple: help patients move from confusion to a clear path toward treatment — through coverage, assistance, or both.

OUR STANDARD

No false promises. No vague coverage claims. No dead ends.

MedicineCostHelp connects expensive medicines to the insurance policies, manufacturer programs, independent foundations and other official resources that may matter. We summarize enough to help people know where to look next, then link to the source that controls.

We do not diagnose, prescribe, make coverage determinations, guarantee reimbursement, guarantee grant eligibility, or tell patients to switch medicines. The insurer, treatment site, prescriber, manufacturer program or independent foundation makes those decisions.

HOW WE BUILD

Official sources first. Automation for detection. Humans for meaning.

Coverage

We prefer insurer, Medicare/CMS, Medicaid, manufacturer and other first-party sources.

Financial assistance

We route to official manufacturer support and independent charitable-assistance organizations, with live-status directories where available.

Monitoring

Automated systems watch for source changes, broken links, new codes and funding-page changes. Alerts trigger review; they do not silently rewrite public guidance.

Freshness

When something can change quickly, we tell users to verify the current source rather than present an old status as fact.

What MedicineCostHelp is
